Imagine – walking into a pub and seeing a masterpiece work on the wall. You see someone come along with a bucket of water and cloth – he starts to erase the mural – you think he must be the cleaner – and you ask him to stop, just to find out he is the creator of the piece of work. He is there to take down the old so he can put up a new mural.
It gives new meaning to out with old and in with the new. Sometimes the only way we can have something new and fresh in our lives is to erase or remove the old from the canvas of our lives. Stephen also shares his thoughts on faith in a broadcast series called Closet Church. This is sure to be an amazing discussion!
Come and meet Stephen Sawyer the artist who drew chalk drawing murals for 8 years at Addie’s and the Woodford Inn. Which was located in Versailles, Kentucky. Share this post with others who were there and share your own stories in the comments.
Please feel free to share this with friends, families – and especially with anyone who was at Addie’s and The Woodford Inn during the time that the murals were being created! We would love to share your stories here…
We may be a minute or two late starting! We are working on a tech issue… be with you soon!

Hi Rosalia!!! 🙂
Hi Cyndilu. Catching #replay
Thanks for catching the replay!
Sounds like an interesting art book.
It is gonna be a great book! The murals feel very much to have a life of their own. And I love the way he is going to weave the stories of those there around some of the pics of the murals – so fun!
I am finally getting to watch this on the #replay
